In the autumn of 2022, Alex presented two audiovisual installation pieces at LUMEN Festival of Light and Technology in Waterloo, Canada. The first, Luxonus, is a new, site-specific iteration of a project developed at Berklee, which uses the physicality of light projected on string to explore our perception of time. The second installation was Techno Bunker, which used a converted parking garage to give participants a chance to reflect on the duality of rave and war.

Alex is one-half of Canadian audiovisual collective, Static Channel. This duo creates immersive environments for music performance and interactive installations. In addition to creating Techno Bunker, Static Channel has ongoing installation series such as Actualizer, which visualizes and abstracts participants' own image as a means of examining the consequences of surveillance and questioning the possibility of digital anonymity. Static Channel has toured across Canada, participating in notable events such as Nuit Blanche, Hillside Festival, Up Here, Flourish Festival and Wavelength.

Over the past several years, Alex has developed as an instructor, facilitator, and mentor, assisting other creators with improving technical skills in projection mapping and interactive software, and assisting music-makers tap into deeper and more vulnerable sources of creativity. Alex teaches workshops regularly with Ed Video Media Art Centre, founded and facilitated the X-Practice Project mentorship and residency program, and served as mentor through the Guelph Arts Council Emerging Artist Program.
