Visuals for Kazoo Fest

In collaboration with Monika Hauck, I created visuals for several iterations of Kazoo Fest in Guelph, Canada. Working in venues such as a church hall, an old warehouse, a boxing ring, a defunct music stop, and a more traditional bar venue, we projection mapped abstract and sound-responsive visuals, using a combination of techniques including real objects-under-a-microscope, analog video mixer effects, VHS tape, and generative digital video. Transforming the spaces into immersive, interdimensional portals helped to transport the audience to another world and elevate the bands' performances.
