VERSA audiovisual performance

For my band VERSA, I designed an audiovisual performance that combined a featured instrument; live-looping and heavily effected bass guitar, with a full band performance running in-ear monitors and sometimes synced to a click. The visuals were created live using ink, liquid, and cymatics, and visualized the sound of the bass guitar directly, while being captured, effected and projected as a vivid backdrop to the performance. In between songs, prints were created to capture the ink on top of the liquid and the psychedelic marbled patterns that formed as a result of the cymatics.
